What a morning at the Podfather Stirling 10k! A huge congratulations to everyone from the club who pulled on the vest and took part in what was also the penultimate round of our club championship, The Travis George Road Race Championship.

We had over 30 club members finish — a fantastic turnout and a brilliant reflection of the strength, commitment, and enthusiasm across the club.

It was especially great to see so many members taking part, supporting one another, and showing the team spirit that makes days like this so memorable. That encouragement on the course and at the finish is what helps drive our runners on to PBs, strong performances, and achievements they may once have thought were beyond them.

A special mention goes to our first three men across the line: Craig Johnstone in 35:32, Noel Slevin in 38:03, and Alex Potter in 39:04 — with Alex agonisingly just 15 seconds away from first MV60. Fantastic running from all three.

Huge congratulations to our first three women: Laura Lennon in 47:12, Louise McQuaid in 47:36, and Harriet Romans in 47:57. Brilliant performances and great to see such strong running throughout the club.

And of course, a big PB shout-out! Another week, another PB for the fast-improving Hazel Wilson, with PBs also for Simon Finnieston, Catherine Cavanagh, Sophie Monaghan, Amy Bissett, and Jan Bissett. Amazing efforts — keep pushing, keep believing, and keep inspiring the rest of us.

Well done to every single runner — whether you were chasing a championship placing, aiming for a personal best, running your first 10k or simply giving it everything on the day. You all did the club proud.
