Victoria Park City of Glasgow AC produced another strong team performance at the third Scottish National Athletics League match of the season at Aberdeen Sports Village, with athletes delivering points across the sprints, hurdles, middle distance, jumps and throws.

There were particularly encouraging divisional performances. The Senior Women finished second overall with 355 points, while the U18 Men also finished second in their division with 315 points. The Senior Men finished third overall with 375 points.
Big points from the field events
The club’s highest individual points scorer in Aberdeen was Euan Urquhart, who produced two maximum 20-point performances. Euan threw 15.20m in the shot put and 39.23m in the discus, giving him an outstanding 40 points from his two events.
Haley Elliot was another major contributor. She took victory in the women’s discus with 38.24m, collecting 20 points, before adding another 18 with 28.47m for second place in the javelin. Her 38-point contribution made her joint second-highest VP scorer of the day.
There was an excellent double contribution from Hollie McIntyre. Her 27.84m discus earned the maximum 20 points in her age group, and she followed that with 8.19m in the U18 shot, worth another 14 points.
Anna Cameron also recorded an outright event victory, producing a best jump of 5.78m to win the women’s long jump and collect 20 points. Combined with her 13 points from a 12.84-second 100m, Anna contributed an impressive 33 points.
Another victory came from Holly Kirkwood, who won the women’s triple jump with an excellent 11.31m, earning the full 20 points.
Anna Clark showed her versatility by moving from the 800m to the throwing circle and taking second place in the U18 shot with 8.48m, collecting 18 valuable points. Liam McIntyre added 16 points with a 10.68m shot put and also threw 31.94m in the discus.
One of the most versatile performances of the match came from Dakota Sattar. After running 11.91 in the 100m for 10 points, Dakota switched to the throws, taking 16 points with 33.81m in the discus and another 12 with 31.19m in the javelin. That brought his day’s contribution to an excellent 38 points.
Strong performances on the track
