Victoria Park City of Glasgow athletes produced a number of strong performances at the 4J Scottish Athletics National Outdoor Open across the sprints, endurance events, jumps and throws at the National Outdoor Open at Linwood, with several athletes achieving podium finishes and personal-best level performances throughout the day.  

Podium Finishes (1st–3rd)

• Becky Dunphy claimed victory in the Women/Masters Men 2000m Steeplechase, winning in 7:50.32.  
• Rebecca Digger finished 2nd in her 100m heat with 12.92 (+2.0).  
• Anna Cameron placed 2nd in the women’s 200m, recording 26.45 (+0.4).  
• Anna Cameron also secured 3rd place in the Long Jump with a best leap of 5.79m.  
• Silver Nwabuzor finished 3rd in the Triple Jump with 12.61m.  
• Kiera Maxwell placed 2nd in the Discus with a throw of 42.58m.  
• Jack Duffin finished 3rd in the Javelin with 40.72m.  
• The club’s 4x400m Mixed Relay team finished 3rd in 3:59.36, with Ivor Scott, Rebecca Digger, George Scott and Anna Clark all contributing strong legs.  
• Kirsty Soutar won the Seated Shot competition with 14.88m and also finished 3rd in the Seated Javelin with 7.44m.
